So I figured this is the place to ask. Anyone ever tried Sam Adams Utopias? Is it worth heading out to find one?

Ya I settled for Ballast Point Indra Kunindra. It's a Indian curry stout. Definitely an interesting beer.

Well I havn't brewed in about 3 years but tried some Pumpkinator,Yule Shoot You're Eye Out, Mother-In-Lager, Sailing Santa, and some Shinor Cheer and it was all she wrote.
So I Bottled a Pumpkin Cream Ale last week and have a Texas Bock in primary about to go into secondary.
Monday plan on starting a Pecan Pie Porter for thr first time and hope it turns out good.
In January I plan to make a Mexican style beer and then to make a Pumpkinator Clone.

Went to visit the in-laws for Thanksgiving and my wife's grandfather had a beer from the Deshutes Brewery in Oregon. The beer was called The Abyss. It was brewed in 2007. He bought a case then and saves the beer for special occasions. He had said that only a very small amount is made a year and people are limited to 1-2 bottles but in '07 he was able to buy a case. Anyway, I had some and it was awesome! It made Guiness look like Budlight. Even the head was a brownish/blackish color. Wish I had some more, lol.

I had a friend pick up my six pack while I was out of town. I space them out to drink fresh and all the way to 6 months old. I love that beer.

Zombie Dust is still my favorite from them, but this is second. Great roast/chocolate balanced with hoppy - something that many try and not as many achieve.

Anyone else feel like they are buying drugs when buying Three Floyds? They always keep it behind the counter and it's a sneaky squirrel transaction to get a bottle.

Glad to see that there are fellow beer enthusiasts on TW! I am in the Brewing science program at Colorado State. It is basically a glorified tour, tasting, and making class. We get some pretty cool behind the scenes tours of major breweries here are some pics I have snapped along the course. Enjoy!
