    Stopped by the beer store on Friday and picked up some new beers to sample...

    Ballast Point Mocha Marlin - by far my favorite of the Friday's purchase! Nice mix of coffee and chocolate. Pretty good, but I've had better. Would definitely drink again.

    New Belgium Cookie Dough Ale - Eh, it was ok. My gf really liked it. I was expecting a much darker beer. Flavor is definitely pretty sweet, but doesn't have the thickness of a stout or porter like I prefer. I'd be ok not drinking it again.

    Terrapin Smoke on the Porter - I was really excited to try this brew and at $14 a sixer, I had set the bar pretty high. This beer is great if you like the taste of smokey dip spit! It was TERRIBLE! And I like smokey porters, but this really did taste like Copenhagen dip spit. You couldn't pay me to drink any more of this. GF agreed, terrible!

    I have 4 of these for trade of anyone wants to try them!

    Bruery 9 Dancing Ladies - GF specifically asked for this one. Cocoa nibs, vanilla, and coffee. Sounded pretty good... Terrible as well! I forced my pint down, she drank half of hers and poured it out. I can't even describe the taste, because I was literally holding my nose while drinking it. I didn't taste any cocoa, coffee, or vanilla... More like stinky feet!

    We like a small pizzeria called Ameci's in Redondo Beach, their calzone's are my favorite actually.

    We usually buy a large Pizza or Calzone, take it to one of the local breweries and have a great time

    plus it's cheaper than going to a restaurant.
