I am about to buy a house within walking/biking distance of this place, which began brewing last year:
    http://track7brewing.com/

I've only been there once during beer week, tasted a lot of stuff, and can't remember much other than I really liked some of it. I think I remember Big 4 Strong Ale being quite tasty.

Oh, and food trucks like to hang out there.

Clearly I need to go do more research. :D

Picked these up last night. I'm making progress on my San Diego-based brewery journey. Mostly sticking with IPAs.

Getting into it is really not very difficult or expensive. Bypass all the Mr. Beer crap and check out sites like Northern Brewer and don't forget your LHBS. Extract brewing really costs very little and is extremely rewarding. Sanitation is key, brew and have some fun.

Sweet thanks man, is shelling out the extra 20 Bucks for glass worth it?

Not IMO. I have always run plastic carboys and they are easier to handle, clean, harder to break, more portable, etc. Unless you are talking about bottling, then brown glass all the way.
