2nd beer of the evening, not quite as tasty as the 1st. But not bad.

Just had Stubborn Beauty Brewing Company's Nummy Nummy. Was a really good IIPA, canned 2 1/2 weeks ago so still pretty fresh. Color really threw me off, it was the exact color as an unfiltered and unpasteurized apple cider. Very juicy beer, had a lot of citrus with stone fruit (apricot and peach) and some light grass notes. Would recommend to anyone who likes an 8% strong flavored IIPA

Get a job, ya bum. I'll hold on to your beers and kabobs while you do so. No guarantees that they will be here when you get back.

Going for a classic with a coin.

Had some framboise shit at Bottle Logic tonight. 3/5. Got my "free" bottle opener ($21, 3 beers at $7 a piece).
Currently sipping this beauty. It's like drinking chocolate milk it's so damn good.

I do this and it works quite well. I use corny kegs to cool then co2 transfer to a bucket for fermentation then back to the keg for carb and serve. By basically canning the wort it gives me the chance to ferment at my leisure.

The appeal to me for no cool brewing is after the boil you're basically done.

With my copper IC it take anywhere from 10-30 minutes to cool the wort down and even then I usually have to stick it into my fermentation chamber to cool the last few degrees. So I usually end up pitching yeast the next day anyway.

Also if I brew a lot my 55 gal barrel fills up pretty quickly :spy:

Yea, my time is very limited so I love the no chill method. Very easy to do multiple batches or split large ones this way. If sealed in a corny the wort will be good for weeks if not longer

been thinking of getting one of these cubes for no-chilling the wort. When it is chilled, I'll pitch the yeast and attach an air-lock to the spigot and open the spigot for fermentation.

Is that heat resistant? Remember the temp will be 150° +. The hotter the better for sanitation.

I know US plastic website list a few that are rated to boiling. HBT would be a good source for what people are using.

I think as long as it's HDPE plastic, it can be used for hot liquids. One of the Amazon commenters say they store concentrated hydrochloric acid without issues.
