Thought I would share, some of you might disagree with this, but to me beer is beer, I love it all. Had firestone DBA in the fridge, opened one up, not hoppy enough for what I wanted in that exact moment, but I know I didn't want an IPA (a little too hoppy for what I wanted). I ended up pouring a 50/50 mix of Firestone DBA and Founders All Day IPA session ale. A perfect balance to hops. This wasn't the first time I've mixed craft beer.

Wicked Weed Myrtille - it's pretty good, but I think I prefer some of their other sours over this one

Had one after another of a session IPA at Three Forks in Nevada City yesterday. A crushable IPA I couldn't get enough of.

My pale ale took 3rd in the first round of the National Homebrew Competition so I advance to the final round! My IPA that took 1st at the world cup which I had high hopes for for the NHC didn't even place. Judges noted some slight oxidation on the score sheets but that makes sense since the actual judging was held so far out after the beers were due. Makes me wonder if they store the entries cold or at room temp. At any rate I have to brew up another batch of pa this weekend for the final round entry.

    Way to go!

Finally released the scores I guess.

I'll have to check with my friends to see how they did.

I've really liked all of the Wicked Weed brews I've tried... I'll add that to my list too. Their brewery is right up the road in NC... May need to make a weekend trip up there and check it out!

Scored some of this on the way down to the beach... Yup, 85 degrees and I'm drinking a S'mores stout and it is freaking delicious!!!

I didn't go to get that bottle that was recommended. I have far too many choices in the fridge right now and may be heading to my very local brewery tomorrow to give them some support.
The head brewer was cleaning his vats and one of the clamps came off the hot tank. Not good. He is in Boston right now recovering. He had skin grafts to his lower legs due to 2nd and 3rd degree burns. :(
    Literally a M&P brewery.

Also picked up a 12'er of this for beach drinking...

Had it last summer and for an IPA (tropical ipa at that!), it is pretty good... At least from what I remember haha!
