    Also I agree with mustard only. Ketchup has way too much corn sugar in it.

    The key to sauerkraut is getting the one in the refrigerated section. Much better.


    Or make your own which is how I fell in love with it. I now eat it straight outta the bottle. Good for the gut too.

    Try the Class 6 next time you're on base. I've seen some more craft varieties lately.

    Today/Saturday was national homebrewing day.

    I brewed a mild:


    6 lbs Maris Otter
    14 oz Breiss Victory (or Mild)
    11 oz UK Amber
    7 oz Crystal 80
    4 oz Crystal 160
    7 oz Caramunich II
    4 oz Special B
    7 oz flaked oats

    WLP002 English Ale
    1 oz EKG

    water treatment for RO (windmill) water:
    2g baking soda, 2g gypsum, 6g calcium chloride, 2g epsom salts

    Mash @152
    OG 1048

    That should not be hard to find in TX. Its a year round beer from Real Ale.
