That is one tasty beer. Me and the GF did a Colorado beer trip last June, and we visited Station 26.
I think it was my favorite of what they had on tap.

    Brewing again because I can.

I was gifted a bunch of 1 oz leaf Sorachi Ace (15.1%) packets, and I want to use them up.

So I am going to make a session ale, and Hop the crap out of it. But I'll probably dry hop with something else.

    Sorachi Mace:

    6 lbs Maris Otter
    2 lbs Munich Dark
    .75 lbs Crystal 65
    .25 lbs Acidulated Malt

1 oz Sorachi Ace Mash Hops
1 oz Sorachi Ace First Wort Hops
    2 oz Sorachi Ace 60:00
    1 oz Nugget 15
    1 oz Nugget 5

I like Sorachi Ace. Dry hopped a Kumquat Saison with it. It added citrus and dill to the nose. I quite liked the dill, even though it sounds like a weird flavor to add. Never used it as a bittering hop however.

I’m thinking that I lack the imagination/creativity needed for brewing. Banana bread in a glass. This is some good stuff.

Went over to Avery this morning for a couple brews then headed up the road to Oskar Blues for lunch and an Old Chub Nitro, a great beer that never disappoints.

Is McClellan's brewing out your way? Had another member here mention it. Looks interesting from what I’ve read.

It's in Fort Collins, which is very close to where I live. I haven't been there yet, but need to get over there one of these days.

Sweet AF beer. Drinking a bomber would give you instant diabeetus. Definitely a sharing beer. And even then, it's a slow drinker. The vanilla/burnt sugar flavors just make it slow drinking.

For me, it was OK, and got better as it warmed up, but I wouldn't buy it again.

I've used the bulk stuff from lowes before with picnic taps. Just make sure it can handle the serving pressure.

Also a local homebrew supply store should carry it if there is one close by.
