    IPA. Nothing too special.

I haven't brewed in a while so I kept it simple.

    13# 2 row
    1# Munich
    .5# acidulated malt
    1oz centennial 60mins
2oz cascade/1oz chinook at flame out
    2oz cascade/1oz centennial whirlpool.
    S-05 yeast

    About 1.070 OG.

Edit: and I'll dry hop once fermentation is finished up I just haven't figured out which hops.

So my mini keg tap is no longer working. It worked perfectly the first time I used t. Now it won't dispense. I even put in a new co2 cartridges. I've gone up to 15 psi and nothing will dispense. Any suggestions? @nDub

Not sure. Maybe pull the tap apart and make sure there isn't any blockage (beer stone maybe).

CO2 goes in but beer doesn't come out? That the problem?

Ya. I sort of fixed it I think. It seems I had the co2 injector on too tight? I loosened it up and then it flowed.

Tasty treat here. Light but complex flavor. And at 13% tends to sneak up on you.

:::eek: wait a triple from that brewery or in general?

SN hoptimum is a triple and a good one at that.

Half the beers Knee Deep makes are triples too. Not sure if they make it out there.

Wait isn't dogfish head 90minute considered a triple?

I've had it a few times. Not the greatest beer but it was free. I find triples to lack flavor.

I find the definitions funny. Hoptimum is 9.6% so I thinks it's more of a double. I usually prefer doubles more than triples if I'm drinking IPAs. Trips are closer to late or dry hopped barleywines which is fine but I'd prefer a barleywine.

They made it again! Awesome. I was around Downingtown last year, it was a limited release and sold out fast. A very delicate, mild quad that was way too easy to drink for 13%

90 is a double. 120 might be considered a triple IPA, but not once it's a month or so old. It gets more like an American Barleywine.

You're not missing much. I'm not a big triple fan. They end up being too malty most of the time. Give me a nice bitter single hop and I'm happy.

Also much more alcoholic. I would rather drink a couple IPAs instead of one I3PA. And if you don't get them fresh the hops fade and the malt gets too dominant.
