L'eveaire from Third Window Brewing. Nice light and crisp tart wheat ale. Very refreshing after a hot walk on the beach in Santa Barbara

It's nice to see they have actual brewery's in SB now. When I lived there the only one was Santa Barbara brewing Co and their beer was ok. Honey Blonde was probably their best.

I need to go back and visit!

Ya they've got a few! I went to Topa Topa last night. Had this amazing barrel aged milk stout with cacao, coconut and vanilla. It was such a perfect night cap.
Had stopped at SB Brewing as well and had a couple, nothing to write home about. Hot waitress though and I was already drunk so I can't complain. Going to Telegraph next I think. It's only 1 and been a great day so far. See my next post here for the current beer I'm on

Slap Bracelet - Third Window Brewing. Vermont (ish) IPA. Pineapple, prairie, passion fruit on the nose. Guava, pear and vanilla on the pallet. Super tropical and juicy. Very refreshing.
I really like this place. The head brewer is beer tending with another, I had asked for a taste of it originally and he poured me a full taster of it. Super cool dude.

Summer Saison - Third Window. No pic, just had a quick taste. Very good. White grape and lemon on the nose. Bit of lychee and orange and some wildflower on the pallet.
Nothing but good things about this brewery.

I've loved sours for a long time. Just haven't been in the mood for them recently. The one I had today though was so perfect. Light, crisp, refreshing. Perfect for a 100 degree day. And it was the perfect beer after the beach.

We had a low of 39* here the other morning. Frost in the higher elevations.

I've got a study book for the CBS cert, but I haven't had the time to study and take the test yet. The CBS is fairly easy though. It's mostly knowledge of styles of beer, proper glassware and pouring technique. Hence the name: certified beer server.
