    I find Goose Island to be hit and miss. The bourbon barrel was one of the hits.

    It grows on ya.
    Just takes a while. The more beer you drink you tend to steer here and there and the taste develops.
    What is your preference in alcohol consumption?

    I get it.

    Although look for a super fresh can bottle A lot of IPA taste terrible and bitter after the hops fade away. There are exceptions like torpedo by Sierra Nevada.

    I didn’t really appreciate IPAs until I started brewing and drinking it: from too soon to too late as the Beer ages. Huge difference I’m most cases.

    That being said there a lot of other styles of beer all equally great.
