Very good, but too much Merkin. Lacks the depth/complexity of the previous anniversaries.

I just tried this for the first time and I'd say it's pretty good as far as non-alcoholic beer goes...

Bud in Germany is made in Czech Republic?

Budweiser is an American beer with a German(ish) sounding name to sound more appealing to customers.

Yes, but it's not an AB-Inbev product, though it has the same name. The brewing of Budweiser Budvar, brewed in the Czech Republic, dates back to the mid-13th century, long before Busch decided to open a brewery with his variation of it in the U.S. in the late-1800s. Unlike the AB-Inbev product we all know and hate, the Czech-made Budweiser is actually supposed to be pretty decent.

I was never interested enough in Budweiser to go that far back in it's history. I only know what the tour guide at one of the bud breweries told me lol

Indeed, I do have to make runs south of the WY border to get some things but found this in Cheyenne!

Me either, I just looked it up. I had heard many times though that the European Bud was much better than the American swill, so now it makes sense as to why.

I wouldn't call them lazy. The haze is by product of the way the hops are used and the quantity. Some go as far as adding flour or pectin to increase the haze. I'm with you on over it though but I do love the aroma from them!!!!

From what I understood it was because they didn't filter it or something of that and it saves extra time. I could and probably am wrong. They're ok from time to time but unless I'm craving a juice bomb i don't want any part of a hazy IPA right now. Gimme that crystal clear, west coast IPA

The hazy comes from a couple different factors yeast, water profile, lots of late hops added to the beer, and not filtering the beer.

I must be in the minority in this thread. NEIPA>West Coast IPAs. I can not stand the overly malted IPAs with the piney taste. If I read "West Coast IPA or "Red IPA" I stay away.

You're obviously not getting the right West Coast IPAs. There's very little malt. Unless you just don't like the piney and bitterness. They're so crisp and refreshing. I feel so full after drinking a hazy NE style.

Correct, I do not like the pine taste from the hops most of the West Coast IPAs use. I'm part of a small group of people that meet every Friday at a craft beer bar after they close for the night and we do bottle shares. There is a guy that usually brings in some beers from the west coast and most of the time I end up not liking them.
