    I've been to Shipyard a couple times.
    I didn't care for Monkey Fist, but I did enjoy Old Thumper and Double Thumper when I was able to find it.

    Brewing my NEIPA today.

    Just starting the boil...

    7 ounces of kettle hops in this brew. Another 6 ounces planned for the dry hop.

    While brewing, having a little California Common side by side tasting. I brewed mine a few days before Christmas and kegged it about 4 weeks ago. It has finally dropped crystal clear. On the right is Anchor Steam Beer. Mine is a quite a bit darker, less biscuit-y, and less bitter than the Anchor. I actually like mine better as an easy drinking, flavorful lager, but the differences likely make mine a poor representation of the style. Sure is good, though.
