But your immediate assumption was that I was triggered which prompted you to ask the question if I was triggered... Do you see now that there is a process to how the brain functions?...

Haha no it’s not fast compared to a brand new hypercar or fully built race car with a parachute and wheelie bar. But still way faster than the vast majority of street cars. And once the Magnuson superchargers are out, we’ll be able to make our trucks much “faster” than any of these other new bro trucks

Is there a new flash now that the 2020s have come out? I heard the transmission had some tweaks that havent been in previous generations, but never heard if there was another TSB or anything like that

I partially agree. I've had people fly at me from blind turns doing way over the speed limit. At that point, I'm not hoping that he hits the brakes. I'm getting out of there for my own safety.

I had a similar situation not too long ago. Road was 35mph, I had to make an awkward left turn (more than 90 degrees). The bend to the left was also a hill, so car coming up the hill was hauling ass around the bend. completely blind I started my turn and look left where I'm turning to see the car hurdling towards me. I gas hard and understeer into the woods as to avoid not getting hit directly in the side. Guy had to be doing at least 50mph.

That's probably the only story I have in my 11 years of driving that's similar to OP's. Otherwise good decision making such as waiting for space on a highway (or utilizing the shoulder sometimes...) usually allows me to take my time getting up to speed. It's no mystery that the 6 M/T Tacoma is a slow shifter. The revs hang, and the throttle is a little less responsive than I like. So I just take my time getting up to speed and shifts are buttery smooth and easy on the clutch.

Why would I be upset that we have our very own drivers?

Have you provided any data on why your right or do you just enjoy masturbating like this?

I suspect that pedal response doesn't have much to do with transmission shift lag, especially if you've got it WOT. But I didn't write their software, who knows what surprises could be lurking.

No... I'm just slow, and according to GreyBaldTaco, I'm also masterbating. Since I'm also not good at multitasking, I just don't have the bandwidth to uninstall my throttle pedal, connect it to my work bench, record the results, and post them on TW. You ask too much. Do you know how difficult it is to stroke and type at the same time?

Now I am no Aviation master Technician but I do work on Fly-By-Wire automotive style systems very similar to what is found in our trucks. They use a 3 wire TPS, Supply, Ground and Signal. The Supply is 5v, ground self explanatory, and the signal is a varied voltage signal ranging from .5 to 4.5v depending on pedal position. In all my years of diagnosing these systems, I have never used an oscilloscope, only an analog voltmeter or a laptop that can graph the output. The TPS puts out a dc voltage so the only 'wave' that would be formed would be pedal modulation. So if the Pedal Commander interfaces between the TPS and the ECM, then it would only mimic and manipulate the DC voltage put out by TPS and relay it to the ECM.

Also our trucks have 2 TPS sensors built in for redundancy and for Idle Verification. I am not sure if they use a stepped voltage, or inverse voltage style. I haven't looked that deep.

Now the Throttle is a different animal. It is a PWM Actuator that you could put an oscilloscope on to see, but it is still DC and you would see the on - off ( duty cycle )

    Edited for grammatical error.
