notice, the OP never specified what kind of 'aggressive tire' they were looking for.

i highly recommend the bfg comp2 a/s plus. sticks like glue, quiet tread design, and it's got an aggressive racer-boy tread!

Best AT tire? You bet; it's whichever one you purchase!

Love the steel-wheels look, thinking about going to that from my stock aluminum alloys on my 2014 TRD OR.

Heavier for sure, also make sure to triple check offset. Lots have spare tire positive offset and will make the truck look like a shopping cart. You can even see it in the picture. It's athestics purely but it bothered me on my truck.

My BFG Trail Terrains are pretty aggressive. I was airing up the passenger front the other day and it pulled a knife on me.

When will it stop? Not the guy asking for tire advice, yeah, we all know been there done that, more about the 100’s of replies from people who’ve been on this forum for 6 months and reply with nothing but snarky dickheaded answers. Seriously, like crows sitting on a power line waiting for a rat to get hit on the highway.

Instead of being a practiced and perfected asshole, I don’t know, maybe say nothing?

We have a lot of vehicles including- 3 Toyotas (02 Tacoma OR lifted), 22 4Runner Pro and my 19 Tacoma OR) - we are in 4x4 daily, we own a horse farm surrounded by a river so a LOT of mud/muck AND I do a LOT of road driving as well - I've put 250K miles on my Tacoma.

I buy a set of tires every year for my Tacoma as I am putting around 60K per year on it. Our of curiosity I try different ones...heck if I don't like them I don't have long before I switch. **Obvioulsy being old (I'm an actual BOOMER Gen) my favorite is the KO2... My recents are:

    1. KO2 - this has been my favorite tire for quite a while and last year I switched all of 5 our family (3 kids and me/wife) daily drivers.
This tire is just an old reliable for me. It reminds me of the Tacoma - maybe not the best at anything but it is dependable and does what I need.

    2. Michelin LTX - I had this on my Tacoma for a year and it was great on the road and fine off road. In the pastures it was great, when it was muddy it was surprisingly fine but when I got into the river areas it seemed to slip a lot. If I was going to be on the road for 85-90% of the time this would be number one.

    3. Duratrac - had this on the 2002 Truck for many years...we like this tire a lot and never had any issues - it seemed to be louder than the KO2 but not a problem.

    4. Nitto - This was a nice tire but it just seemed to be not as good around the river/rocks and the Michelin was much better on road.

**I had the Coopers (forget the exact name) on our last suburban and I liked those a lot....

Those are the only ones I remember having recently- other than the original Kevlar Goodyears when I first got the truck. I actually didn't hate the performance of the tire on/off road, it just seemed to puncture too easily for our situations. I would not buy this again...and when I get my new 23 pro I will take off the Goodyears and put on a set of KO2s.

Absolutely true, tire performance to me is purely subjective and also the vehicle they are on is a big factor.
I've had some truly cheap tires perform well on one car, but not another. I had premium tires that were not "all that", but I purchased them after experiencing them on a different car.
All I can say is spend time researching reviews. I chose my last set for my Chrysler 300C Hemi based on reviews of the tire that were on the same vehicle as mine. I am very happy, I got the tire I wanted thanks to peoples reviews.

This is what I run now. Have used Hankooks, Coopers,Falkens, BFGs', Nitto's in one flavor or another on several different trucks (fleet). The General Grabber A/T-X is by far the best I have used on snowy slick roads, quiet, decent lasting ~ 40-50k, as good as or better than most A/T's in mud vs. a true M/T tire, and look fairly aggressive IMHO. Need to make sure you get the A/T-X, not the older A/T-2 though. Not sure if they are still around now.

Those Grabbers used to come with a red lettered sidewall, the Jeep guys coming into the dealership were running them. They looked awesome.
