Every lure has it's time and place. I like creature baits in and around scattered weeds in shallow water.

My favorite is a Strike King rage structure bug texas rigged with a 1/4-1/2 oz. bullet weight. I've also had some luck with the rage hawgs.

I have no affiliation with Strike King, but about 90% of my bass are caught on their lures.

Roboworm use to make these awesome kreature baits that was underrated by anglers so they got discontinued.

I've had great luck using the whopper plopper and a plain old wacky worm.

I do pretty well with a weightless zoom baby brush hog in watermelon red flake this time of year through mid summer. Late summer the LFT hyper freak works pretty well flipping in and punching through weeds.

Ive tried them but they didnt make much difference for me. Best results I've had keeping wacky rigged worms together is to find a large plastic straw like the ones you get at smoothie king, cut into 1/4" sections and pull worm through there then poke your hook through the middle of the straw section.

I use the cheap stick worms from Walmart. They last longer than senkos and I catch tons of bass on them

regarding the senkos... that company that makes the creature bait on the video also makes a weighted senko style worm. Not a weighted jig head at the end, just one that has additional weight evenly distributed throughout the worm.

I'd be interested in that, but I already have about 50 bags of assorted plasics I'll never use.

I got a little crazy a few years back and decided to try every type of worm and creature I could find.

I've concluded that i only need about 5 baits to catch bass. If they don't eat any of those, fuck 'em. I'm too lazy to try any harder:D

Looks better than my 3 tackle box, shopping bag, and multiple plastic grocery bags system

they are neat lures, sometimes they hit it on the fall. Yesterday I caught but didnt land the same fish from the other day. I got to watch it eat the bait; the big ones just cant resist it and gulp it, it didnt even do anything till I tried to set the hook, which I thought I got a good hookset but apparently not. The little ones slam it and take off, usually catch them if they bite it good.
