What are the best tires I can get from Les Schwab? My Hankook Dynapros lasted a pitiful short amount of time. Previous to them I had Nitto Terra Grapplers, and they were ok but noisier and milage was not as good.

My driving- Montana. Snow, rain, muddy two tracks. Primarily highway. I drive a lot. TRD Sport so 17" rims.

I picked up a nail or something last night and had to roll home on the spare, I am pretty sure that no tire place is going to fix that Dynapros in their current condition so tomorrow I will probably be about $900 lighter. I have always liked Les Schwab, they've always been good to me, and they are all over the northwest where I travel.

    Thanks for the help

katzkin leather, toyota step bars, pro grill, advent overhead DVD player, cargo extender, bed mat, husky liners, impulse digital brake controller, avs bugflector, tinted windows, Firestone ride-rite air bags, ARE camper top with tool doors, ScangaugeII, ProEFX tow mirrors, ImMrYo rearview mirror lift bracket, Salex glove box and console organizers, 2020 Tacoma Pro styled wheels, 265/70 r17 Michelin MS2 tires, LED map lights, drivers seat extended and raised, ram ball tech deck installed, blacked out badges, tinted taillights, upgraded climate control knobs, ultimate headlight upgrade with Osram superbrights and wiring harness along wit OEM pro headlight housings.
If he sells Michelin they are the way to go. They cost twice as much but last three times longer. They are quiet on the highway, and will get you through the snow and light muddy trails.

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
Their Toyo MT or Open Country AT are pretty good. Pricy but they include their warranty like flat repair, rotation and spin balance no certificate needed. I've ran their Wild Country TXR's and Wildcat AT's before. No problems.

Went with Cooper AT3. Feels like cheating on Les Schwab but Tire Rama has them beat on price. Went 10 ply.

This is my 4th set of tires at 130k. Factory- Nitto Terra- Hankook Dynapro- Cooper AT3.

I bet you could get 50k miles out of the Michelin's, but the AT3's will serve you much better off-road. Probably not so pricey either.

I'm nearing 60,000 miles on my ms2's and they are only maybe 1/2 done. At this rate they'll probably get old and crack before wearing out tread.

    ... ^^^ ... Your wisdom is infinite my son ... :)

Michelin LTX-AT2s (semi-agressive look) ... or ... LTX-MS2s (looks like your Granny's Crown Vic tires) ... have had both and love them ... have LTX-MS2s now ... but do no off roading.

You can get them in your $900.00 budget ... good luck in whatever you buy.

PS ... Look for the $70.00 rebate from Michelin dealer if available. I use Discount Tire or COSTCO ... D/T will match lowest price too.
