    what color temp. will you guys get?, I'm choosing from 4300k or 5000k for mini h1, I don't really know which is better as I'm newbie in doing this, I just want a bright output with great looks. any idea?

    Its not that one is better than the other, its a color difference.... 4300's have more of a yellow tint, where as 5000's are mostly white.

    Ive had 4300's, 5000's and 6000's

    the 4300 was pure white

    the 5k had the slightest tint of blue

    and 6k was a little bluer than that.

    I prefer the 5k

    maybe I'll get 5000k too as they say that the higher the color temp, you'll get more blue band on its cut-off but i don't want to sacrifice the performance.so 5000k is a good choice?

    I didnt like my 6k's at all. They were 100% useless in the snow. I actually had to turn on my hella 500's and point them as low as they could go to keep from blindind oncomming traffic...

    I don't want to scare any of you away from anything... But for those of you who are looking to not modify your headlight housing and are debating between the H1 and the D2S, I will discourage you from getting the Mini D2S. I currently have them and will be switching over to FX-R whenever I can get the money. Go with the H1

    quick question? Was looking through the differences between the h1 and d2s last night and the h1 comes with the mini gatling shroud, but some reason the standard gatling is 25.00 extra. anyone know what that is, or what the fitment difference is? thanks! bump one more to go!

    mini gat gun is the smaller version of the gat gun made for the H1 kit and wont fit anything else (from TRS).

    Installing the Mini D2S is very easy. Take apart the headlight and just screw it in... I can only imagine the the H1 would be the same way. There is no "modification" to install the minis.
