Yeah either way your gonna ruin someones night. I've been toying with one of these guns for a couple of years. I shoot the same PDX1's in my S&W Governor with good results, but it'd be nice to replace my .22mag derringer as a pocket piece with one of these. I assume you didn't shoot all 50 rounds of anything at the same time and if you did, you're definitely a better man than me! Cool gun.

Just bought my wife one of those for Christmas, you like the Uncle Mike's? I'm toying with an ONYX for her.

The Governor's longer barrel certainly results in better (less) spread. That, and the Judge, is what that round was designed for.

I actually shot 50 rounds of the cowboy loads, plus four rounds of the Critical Defense 45LCs in one sitting. Two days later, I shot four rounds each of the .410s (two each straight into the target, and two each with a tee shirt in front of the target). Then about eight more rounds of the #9 shot at various things just to burn them up. Total of 24 rounds that day.

Thanks. It's heavier than I thought it would be. And bigger. I used to have a Smith & Wesson 642 38 Special. The Bond Arms is bigger and heavier.

I'm 5' 10", 200# so I'm sure it would be fine. It's not like it would be a range gun or anything.

My EDC is just a simple Ruger 9e. Little cheaper than the sr9c but still shoots nicely. I take my Savage Arms 116 .270 out sometimes for fun though.

I have more holsters for all of my handguns than I can shake a stick at. I specifically use the UM in the lockbox since it will fit in the tight confines of the lockbox and give me some sort of carry option if I ever have to carry the truck gun out of the truck. If I am carrying normally, I have many better options than the UM holster.

Nahhhh. It has about 20,000 rounds though her and never a malfunction. Only American guns have to be squeaky clean to function properly and I dont own any.

Must be all those loose tolerances HAHA I had a Ruger P89 once that was like that. I kept it in the toolbox of my truck, think I cleaned it once when it was newer.

How do you like your Ultra CDP II? I almost bought one last year, I really dig compact 1911's for carry but you hear nightmares about the jamming/stove piping etc. I have a Springfield Micro 3" that I really like, but I can't 'smith the characteristic out of it either. Pretty much stuck shooting match grade 230 grain ball nose ammo and I still have the problem occasionally.

Love this gun. I've only ever had two failure to fires. The first was on day one, about 50 rounds in and that could've been me. The second during a hard day at the range running timed drills with two other guys. Stovepiped somewhere in the 400s for the day. Could've been the gun, could've been me.

I was considering changing it out for something lighter to carry at the end of the summer last year, but then stumbled on a paddle mounted 2 magazine carrier. I carry that at my 9 o'clock and it balances everything out. I don't think my issue was ever the weight of the gun, but the unevenness of carrying it by itself.

Mine's a little heavier than yours and it doesn't bother me, but then again, I've been open carrying my Taurus PT1911 stainless for years, so going to anything lighter feels like it's not there.
