Warn Ascent Rear Bumper. ReTrax XR Tonneau cover Yakima Over Haul Adjustable Rack with 6O” cross bars. Adventure Sole roof top tent. ARB Shade Awning.
After 1 year we have been informed our Warn Ascent Rear Bumper is not compatible with 2018 TDR Sport, “Blanco Taco". We thought this would fix the lame factory bumper. After one sneeze the number was dented. Why not replace it with something more substantial .

i’ve been reading as a quest. Seems to me this blind spot monitoring system is an epidemic of failure across the county. Snow, mud, slush, beach sand sends the system into complete melt down. Up to $300 to reset the computer.

I was told by the Toyota Folks 1. Read the fine Print... I’m 70 and 2. because the original bumper was “compromised” (hit a pole backing up in the woods) no warranty coverage. Only 15,000 miles and 18 months left on the number to bumper.

Research has shown that the Road Armor Stealth Rear Bumpers will work with the Blindside System.

I’ve read that other after markets bumpers are trying to make compatible bumpers. I hope so.

Shy of relocating and moving them they cannot penetrate a thick aftermarket bumper.

I like BSM, especially on the long wheel base models. Just nice to have. But it works on radar, which reflects off of metal.

Bummer! Welcome! I tapped a tree and destroyed the right half of my stock bumper. I don't have all that monitoring stuff so I was able to just slapped on a steel after market bumper. Hope the next one works out for ya

    Welcome.

Unfortunately most of fabricators that I know of, decided not to bother with BSM because of issues that most people have with them. Whether it's calibration or other stuff.
So, you could be hopeful that "Road Armor's" bumper will work, but don't be surprised if you run into issues. Nonetheless, good luck and enjoy this place
