    I got impatient and bought my fire pit burner today

    Modifying my LP tank and getting an extended LP line tomorow.

    Installing brick base and placing burner Saturday morning

    Got an extended LP line with a custom made T-adapter so I can run the fire pit off of either forklift LP tanks or normal grill LP tanks

    The top is uneven because the burner is recessed. I can put the burner on top and then the red bricks will fit properly. I might do that tomorow.

    It's hard to tell from the picture if it's possible but I would leave the burner recessed and adjust the red stones to be flush with the cinder blocks. They'll overlap the burner along their inside edge but I think that would look nice anyway personally.

    Looks to me that you just need to cut one brick in 3rd and add it in the center of each side to balance out the top.
