I just order a Set of 6 Injectors for $98.00 with taxes for my 2000 Toyota Tacoma V6. Other sites sell their Injectors for about $75-$105 dollars per injectors. I wondering if i got a good deal or did i get Ripped Off now i am thinking maybe they are REALLY Cheap in materials? I order them from CarParts.com They do offer a 3 year warranty on them Injectors. Has anyone order from them before and had they had a good experience? Here is the website:

There are many threads on this site about injectors and the general census is that motor west has the best option

many other cheaper options will not work properly

    3 year warranty lol.
Yea, if one fails they'll give you 15 bucks back and you have to do the whole job over again

Cascadesubtaco, thank you for your replied back. Yes, i spoke to them yesterday "Motor West". They are out in California. They are a little pricey. $375 for a set of 6 and life time warranty. I asked if they had a Black Friday Sale going on and NOPE. I already spent about $700.00 already on parts for my Tacoma and one was a Throttle body and the whole Set on Intake Gaskets, the Big Intake Hose, that goes to the Throttle body, Fuel Pressure Regulator, Denso Fuel Pump and Filter, the Sensor that goes on top of the Gas Tank, and the Coolant Temperature Sensor, which is located in front of the Injectors.

What I'm saying is, at $15 each it's nothing for them to ship you another cheap piece of crap or refund you the money. You are the one who has to burn another day in the garage doing the work again.

15 dollars each is way too cheap to be a serious product. It's a click-bait price.

Same thing with garbage remanufactured starters and alternators that say LIFETIME WARRANTY on the box. Sure they'll give you another (guaranteed-to-fail) starter 6 weeks later and you'll be on your back in the driveway doing the job again.

Generous warranties create an illusion of value that people fall for. It's the price that tells you they don't stand behind their product. If the product was worth a crap they'd be charging more for it

That is a hell of a deal. You should check the price on OEM injectors

In all seriousness, for the amount of work it takes to get down to the injectors, I wouldn't take a risk on cheap parts. Aka, Buy once, cry once.

I believe LC Engineering is another reputable source for quality injectors, but that might be more for the 4l.

@Pinchi Thanks, but I've already done the upgrade to the Denso / MotorWest injectors- I'd 100% recommend them.

Also, getting the OGs rebuilt is a great way to solve this issue. I highly recommend this as an alternative. I know if a company that replaces both Owings and rests the fuel pressure for each injector to make sure the correct amount of mist is used.

I can list a website if you would like to go that route.

Toytec coilovers. Height adjustable Bilstein's. 265/75/16 MT. TRD wheels. Rebuilt r150f. Marlin clutch kit. All kinds of new parts...
I purchased some from Yot1 and they are remanned OEM. One of the failed. Called them and they said they would send me another one free of charge which was cool but no reply to my email. I also sent in my old ones for a $100 core. I did call, spoke to a guy and again said he'd look into it after I forwarded him the email. No core return, no replaced injector for a failed one. I thought Yota1 was pretty good as I've bought from them int he past but the customer service is shite. Should of went with motorwest. I'd never buy some aftermarket junk for this procedure because it's not the easiest to do. Not that hard but it's one of those PIMA jobs.

That does suck, I guess that blows the "if it's expensive it's gotta be better" argument outta the water. But most cheap stuff is trash.

I have never used A-Premium so I can’t rate them but from experience if you buy cheap that’s exactly what you get cheap inferior parts. A OEM single injector is just a little under 200.00 so the Motor West injectors with lifetime warranty is the way to go. IIRC they’re Lexus Denso which have no solenoid to fail.

shankyjones, thank you for your input. Nice to have an alternative approach if need be. And i will share this information with others. I just browse their website and they are out of Northern Oregon.

IMO don’t clean or rebuild the brown Aisin injectors they have a solenoid that fails and causes them to run fine cold but misfire when hot.

They’re good for about 220K miles and when they fail just trash them and install the black Lexus Denso equivalent.

Every reply from this account @'s a poster. No way is it real. And it explains why it would suggest to me that reverse link to motorwest..
