It’s a Deaver U402 Stage 3, designed for 700-1000 lbs constant weight. It was very unlikely we could have cycled it by hand to get the proper stroke of the shock figured out so we stripped it down to the leaf with the eyelets.

Oh! Okay. So it’s only like that for the shock relocation work.

Damn. I was hoping for a single leaf spring setup lol.

I'm confused. A single leaf would ride absolutely horrible and not offer any progression. What would the benefits of this be?

Made another trip to Ed Hanson’s Muffler Service today to get a new muffler installed. Ended up with a Dynamax Super Turbo clocked 90 degrees to give the battery box room, it hangs a bit lower than the stock muffler did so I will have to pay attention to that in the rocks.

Best part is I can hear myself think in the cab while driving, no muffler is stupid, this one doesn’t seem to sound any different than stock which is what I was hoping for.

Looks like it doesn’t hang down lower than the gas tank, or your drive shaft.
Maybe you need a drive shaft skid now. I know I could use one.

Did you ask them “what happens when I beat this on rocks”?

It’s not a huge concern but things tend to happen when I party. I didn’t ask but I think the answer is “Shit breaks yo”

Installed the SpiderTrax 1.25” wheel spacers installed on the rear axle to hopefully keep the tires off the shock body at full stuff. A1BF5DB6-87A9-4031-AD57-B48689328350.jpg

The Fox 2.5” x 14” Remote Reservoir with DSC are finally stickered up and bolted in. EEFEAB78-7839-43E1-AE87-161A07560C20.jpg 1FD8D9AA-C3AE-430A-B7A0-351684D06FE4.jpg

I’ve got to figure out where to adjust them for daily driving but it’s million times better than he no shock life I’ve been living since Saturday and seems much more planted than with the 5100s that were there in the short drive home from installing them

Now that the under bed stuff is done we just need to coordinate a time to move it over
