Thanks. I have been considering an underhood compressor but with no intention of a locker I haven't thought much about it yet. It would be nice to have it always handy though instead of the one I cary in my recovery gear.

Today also involved the first off pavement trip, as well as visit to public land. Drove up to Otay Mountain Truck Trail in the rain. Didn't do anything interesting cause Open/Open and no recovery gear/points.

Was feeling pretty cool splashing through puddles until I came across the group of Subarus and the man taking a shot of his Impreza in the mud, just like I'd just done.:anonymous:

Not yet, as awesome as it is there are several drawbacks, at least with how it was done in my truck. I'm currently enjoying a truck that doesn't smell like gear oil always.

Received the rest of the @Mobtown Offroad Tailgate Reinforcement today as well and the Marlin Crawler HD LCA Frame Brace.

Got the CBI Group 31 battery box yesterday but it might be too nice to just weld underneath the truck. If anyone has a want for this, they can buy me a plain steel box and I'll send them this one.

Mini-roadtrip tomorrow to pick up the first big pieces. Deaver Springs for a set of U402 Expedition Series Stage 3 leaf springs. DMZ Fab for a simple died frame boxing kit. Demello Offroad for Kickout Sliders. Then @AY_ARONTRD to talk about electrical stuff. Then possibly a beer with @ryanbitt if he's done with work as I'm headed south.

I like those leaf packs. Mine handle the weight really well and they ride reeally well. I can't wait to get the hammer Hangers on and see how they do.

Round 2 on the @Mobtown Offroad Tailgate Reinforcement install. The box with the cap and hardware arrived today. Didn't have the patience or proper PPE to pull all the plastic plugs to replace the hardware, I quit after one try and one slashed knuckle. Got the cap put on and will reattempt the hardware when I have more daylight and some gloves.

Not worn out, but probably not ready for another 7 years of shenanigans
