Gotcha. I thought the sequoia wheels were bigger. That pic is deceiving.

    Right?

When I posted it I was like uhm shit, the 33s look like 35s

Pfft well you'll be running big boy tires so nothing I can add.

Maybe @02hilux or @Wulf can share.

Here's the Land Cruiser on 33s now.

Thing is clean. Geez, I was just thinking that if I bought a cruiser it would prob cost close to $1000 to throw some tint on it.

Dobinsons need to arrive already to both lower it, and make it a tad bit level.

Those AT3s and wheels go together well, how do the tires do on the road?

    Thanks!

They are stupid quiet, and ridiculously smooth now compared to the Coopers.

Wide ass 35s would pull me one way or another on a bad road, and being old, the rubber was really hard.

I figured if these last me a year or more, I got more than my money's worth.

Toyos are high class tires. Those things are expensive as shit. A 40 is like the same as a trepador.

They sure look like they'll hold you over for a while

It sure is funky how width and age of tires can cause drivability issues like wandering but it's very real lol

@Wulf do you have 2 tires that you endorse in a 40 with DD capability in the northeast or pacific northwest?

    lol.

She just finished her first 'semester' today with finals. It was mostly classroom stuff up till now, with a bit of intro stuff in the lab. She's absolutely loving it and the material really seems to come naturally for her. I think she's planning on going on to get some sort of degree, I think a bachelors in welding technology. Pretty stoked, I think she's gonna do great. Thanks for asking!

    Dude that's awesome!

Was only asking because I wasn't sure if she was already welding or not.

Week after next I think, should be fun! We did a little welding in the garage last fall and she picked it up pretty quick.

So, on my daily 25min/21mile commute, it's as I described - less road noise, less vibration, a sort of "dampened" road kind of feel. Almost like having gone from E load and overinflated down to C load with the proper tire pressure

Parking made for less "clicking" in my rear end when making tight turns.

I bought that center section only though.

I was intrigued by it when I first saw it, but realized it'll only look good with big ass tires and nice suspension to show.

    image2-2.jpg

But then, a few other members pointed out that it could be the "base" for which I make my own wings/end caps to.

On the plus side, Coastal Offroad honored their price (with military discount) from over 2 weeks ago. I say this because all their products had just gone up in price. That's good business right there!
