    Adding a little progress.

After figuring out the general idea for my wings, I thought I'd get some metal cut to get a good idea of fitment.

Here you'll see I've taken the cardboard templates and transferred them onto steel.

    20220915_101555.jpg

Fortunately I've got a lot extra in case I fuck up

    20220915_101710.jpg

Being happy with the first one, I thought I'd continue onto the second.

    20220915_105339.jpg

    Here they both are!

    20220915_111830.jpg

Going to take my time here to shapen them up and get nice even surfaces before I proceed with making the side and bottom panels.

And this is why I wish I had a CNC plasma setup; I'm stacking these parts and going all around making sure they're both mirror images of each other.

Still need to carve out that inner curve.

Been feeling productive lately so thought I'd revisit my cardboard templates one more time.

@Sperrunner HVAC dude to the rescue

Not like much "building" happens here anyway

Did get the bottom panels of the wings cut at least. Now to hit them with a flap disc and get everything cleaned up and even.

    20220917_111356.jpg

Welding up the "base" of the bumper would have to be next before I tack the wings up against it.

Like a normal gas wall heater?
Does the pilot light and stay lit? Idk how a camper one works, but ik how a normal house wall one does

We hear a click and smell propane, but no light. I don't know if it's pilot light or a different ignition some how.

probably gonna pull it out and take it to town

Might just be dirty. Like on a gas stove when the igniter gets dirty and doesn’t make a big enough arc to light
