    Ew, 100 is too big.

I'd feel like an old man driving it.

    I may get a GX470 instead :anonymous:

Some people love, few people hate.

A lot of Yota's out here are done up by idiots and I'd rather avoid them completely.

Well you know, we had this talk before in person.

Overall, 470 is a good vehicle beside the damn swing out rear door vs opening up, the damn air bags ride get expensive unless you convert it to springs when it's broken, and damn high beam suck ass. :hattip:

Truth be told, I looked at 2 of the 4 or 5 people that hit me up about.

This one is a real contender; even the air suspension works not to mention it looks cleaner underneath than even your truck

    Old man owned.

I'd rather get something more comfortable for a daily driver with the fam.

Might look at a pick up next week with a bad motor :anonymous:

You seem to be on the shorter side so maybe it’ll be ok, but I liked the 470 until I sat in one… seat wouldn’t go back enough. I was surprised at the lack of interior room.

Seems to me you like building vehicles then selling them :bananadead:

    Loaded up the LC earlier

Borrowing the GX I'm interested in.

New CAT (factory) 2 months ago along with water pump, timing belt, and more.

Not even a speck of dirt on the frame or drop of fluid anywhere underneath.

    @Gen1FTMFW

Thought I'd bring it here from the other thread since I had already posted pics.

Front coilover, which I take that's a big ass spacer? Guessing the seat is sitting at ride height and the spacer gives it lift?

Like I mentioned it's too hot outside to bother assess.

Just surprised how "tall" she is in stock form, which I'm assuming it is due to my flat sitting cv axles?

    20230703_111957.jpg

I did see the air suspension in action when I first saw the rig, when I picked it up a week later the guy said he pulled the relay out to leave it at its current height.

Relay is in the glove box if I wanted to mess with it.

Huh, pulled the relay? WTF. You might have issue if he pulled the relay. Sound a like bunch of bananas

Just to leave it how it is; I've seen the air suspension work.

Didn't realize it really only consisted of rear bags that inflate/deflate.

That's definitely taller than stock. Spacer in front and likely set to "high" in the rear. Here's what mine looked like at stock height. It had 150k miles on the stock suspension, so the front was probably a little saggy. The bumper/winch don't help either.

Why would PO pulled the relay to leave it at its current height? When I had mine, the bag never deflated unless I switch/adjust them.

What I don't understand is, pulling the relay is a waste unless the pump is consistently pumping for no apparent reason

Ok yeah that's the sort of height I thought I saw out on random GX.

Just surprised the cv axle angles are still flat. They're more forgiving when it comes to lift I take it?

I had maybe 1 3/4" height over stock on my 4Runner and I tore boots on OEM boots and those extended travel variants.

Hard to say TBH. I tore the passenger boot within weeks of installing my OME lift. The driver side is starting to show signs of wear and I'm sure it'll need to be replaced soon too. Weirdest part is that both CV's are aftermarket, so not sure when they were replaced or at what mileage. I'd also be curious if KDSS affects the wear rate too since it theoretically allows for more down travel. You are non-kdss, right?
