I love the 4runner. If I had known I could get the trail edition with leather, then I would have bought that instead. Its nice to be able to have both tho :)

They turned out great! It seems like one of the things all wheel manufactures can't get right!? To me they just needs to be simple and blend into the wheel...the ones on the XD's were way too oversized and really take away from the wheel. Out of curiosity, what is the cost on the delrin per wheel?

What have you done to your truck lately
Trade it in and get the TRD PRO and it has it all plus the fancy grill.

If I can't weld good, might as well look good :D

I bought a 8" roll of flux core today. I wanted to shoot solid wire, but didn't feel like buying another bottle. Fricken spool of flux core was over $100 tho!

Can always borrow my solid wire and Co2 if you just want to try it out? See how you like cheap gas :D

Flux actually looks pretty good once you get it down good. My biggest problem was stick out. I kept working with 1/4-3/8" like gas, but found out 5/8 is better. Gotta let the flux preheat.

Yep, I've shot lots of flux in the shipyard. It's just tig that I really want to learn. been doing a lot of reading and watching videos at weldingtipsandtricks.com
Great stuff that a lot of our old timer pipe welders agree with.

Mig like tig looks good, but it's usually weaker than good straight stringers. We whip and weave a little to fill gaps, but our welds get smoothed out anyway. And you wouldn't want to do that with flux core.
