I want an orbit key now! Only problem is I don't think it'll fit my truck key so well.

So not much happening with the truck, but I did take a big step to making more isotope holders :D
The first few fobs I made were just roughly rotated by hand and eyeball to get the 4 or 6 sides. I was able to mount my rotary table horizontally. Now I can easily and precisely index the fobs for drilling. So I showed my daughter how to rotate it and space the holes. I chucked up some brass, set the stopper and let her go to town.

She made this crazy 12 sided pinecone thing...
Might have to recreate this in titanium
It was bending pretty good as she was drilling, and I knew it would, so I made a simple tailstock after, and its perfectly centered to the index head
    Very necessary for drilling titanium.

Now I need to secure some trits

Do you love your fox's? These damn strut assemblies are killing me! Thinking about getting coil overs already so I can adjust them without having to pull the front apart

Not my week. My battery went bad on Tuesday, and had to replace with an optima red top. And I just discovered this today.
    outside tread:
    inside thread:
    leaning tire

It looks like my coils sagged and I had some bad camber. Tires were getting noisy and squealing around slow turns and over speed bumps. Cranked my coils a few turns and rotated tires front to back. Rides smooth and quiet now. Will check ride height tomorrow and readjust if necessary, then schedule an alignment.

Don't be lazy. Rotate your tires. Watch your ride height. Get alignment atleast once a year...

I actually noticed the road noise when I drove your truck one day and felt more humming coming from the tires than mine. Made me wonder, but I thought nothing of it at the time and considered that you knew your shit, so who was I to say anything...:) And we both have Duratracs...

Let me know when you're ready for another set. Good time to move up to 285's.

I'll probably go with MTRs since we have goodyear here. Or BFG ATKO2s from Costco. Don't know if anybody sells the ST maxx here. Shipping might be expensive.
Duratracs have been great, and I still recommend them. I just wanna try something different.
