Current view. Pulled the cats out of the way to make it easier to drop the t case. And they will probably be in the way cause I gotta notch the inside corners of the frame to clear the links.

I wonder how it would sound if I started it up right now :D

Nah, just taking apart my truck

Dropped the stock T case... Onto a mountain of bubble wrap
    image.jpg
I didn't really drop it. I was under it bench pressing it while my wife pulled the last few bolts. Then I lowered it onto my chest and off to the bubble wrap waiting on the side.

Huge shoutout to @EddyRRT of SOS off road concepts for quickly making and shipping this new frame plates for me!
    Thanks again bro!
    image.jpg
Eddy just finished his SAS and so he already had the file to cut out a set of these for me. They look way better than the first gen frame plates that all pro shipped to me :(

Wow, the old plates don't look so good. Another part of the "kit"?

Yeah, his set up looks good. I shot him a message on Saturday asking to see a pic of his plates, and he replied pretty quick and it looked great, so I asked him if he still had the file, and if would make me a set. He had them in the mail the very next Monday. So thankful! Hopefully now I can make some progress on my truck! :D

Yep, their 2nd gen kit is the same as the first gen. Just gotta make it fit. If you look close at the black Betty build, it's the same frame plates.

    Getting there... Not really tho.
Just wheeled the axle outside to give it a coat of primer, and I thought I'd slap the wheels on to see how it looks and fits.

Sadly I'm still wrestling with my front range off road X member. So no link brackets or shock towers yet...

Here is the problem I'm having with the front range off road t case X member..
Was hitting the corner of the tunnel, so I had to notch it a little.
    image.jpg

    image.jpg
But then the bushing pad was hitting the body...
    image.jpg
So I took some measurements, and decided to cut off the arm and drop it 1.250"
    image.jpg
Double bevel on both sides for full penetration.
I'm not a certified welder, but I can put down a decent bead.
    image.jpg
And then ground it all off

Now the arms are in line with each other
    image.jpg
    Fits good...
    image.jpg
But the drivers side mount is a bit far away from the frame, and bolt head is now contacting the fuel lines, so I may also cut this side and extend it a little.
    image.jpg
    Yay!!! More fab work!
I will probably add some side plates to strengthen both arms. But what I really want to do is a basket style crossmember with integrated skid plate using the factory transmission mount.
