No, gave up on that. Would be a lot of work to make the tone ring fit.

So this is the Front Range t-case crossmember, that supposedly fits the 2nd gen, but it wont even get close. So I had to trim to get it to clear the tunnel.
    IMG_8084.jpg
Still didn't like it, so I cut off the passenger arm and dropped it an inch.
    IMG_8097.jpg
    IMG_8104.jpg
Then the drivers side was very far from the frame, so I cut it off, added an inch, then dropped it a little to get better clearance for the fuel lines. Beveled both side for full penetration.
    IMG_8311.jpg
Then added some plates to both sides of both arms to give them more strength.

Here is the crossmember all welded up and painted, and I'm very happy with the fit.
    IMG_8388.jpg
I had my good friend Richard, one of the best pipe fitters/welders at BAE Systems Hawaii shipyards come down and weld on my frame plates to support the crossmember

Now I need to fab up some brackets and gussets to hold this trans/t-case up, then I can finally cut off that last factory X member.

Sorry! I did have some updates on my IG, so some of the X-member work was awhile ago. Frame plates happened today.

Welding the top of the plate to the top of the frame. Not much room to work between the body and frame.

Only a Pearl Harbor pipefitter would consider this roomy

You should remove it and make a template with the new dimensions. Add it to your lineup.

    Never doing this again!
Wouldn't be hard to template in place tho. I'm sure it'll have to come off when I finalize the seal from the T case to the hole in my floor

 actually the AP "complete" kit didn't even come with a crossmember. This was purchased directly from Front Range off road.
