Oahu is 30 miles across.
Big Island is 93 miles across.

Boxed in the pitman arm yesterday. Bolted it on today. Now to fit up the HA...

 

The box plate I added to the pitman arm was a little close to the drag link at full drivers side steering lock. So I pulled the arm off again and cut a radius in it by plunge cutting with a carbide insert face mill. Looked good so I did both sides.





And I also finally got around to swapping out the pinion seal that ECGS sent me. I gotta check the oil level tomorrow. Hopefully the outside of the third member and the bottom of my truck stays dry now.

Damn! I haven't updated this thread in awhile!
So... I sold my townhouse on Oahu and bought a place with a real garage on the big island. And the boat ride over rusted the shit out of everything!

 

I'd be so pissed about that rust...

Yeah, can't help it tho. Only one company ships vehicles interisland, and they are right on the deck of the ship. Truck was covered in sea salt.

It's 5 bedrooms, 4 full bath, 3,000 sq ft. Garage is like 600 sq ft.
And the inside is nicer than the outside


This is with the garage door closed. Still plenty of room. And got a 220 outlet right in the garage

We are still settling in, and trying to set up the shop and get organized. It's a mess right now...
