Looking good! Why'd you go with 700# coils? It looks like you had lots of preload adjustment left on the coilover.

It's stiffer for sure, but much better than before. I like it better now.

That's an old "before" pic. When I first installed them. I had over 2.5" of threads showing. Plus when the truck was sitting on its own, the coils looked really close together.

Stiffer, but I love it! :D

No deer on Oahu, but plenty on Maui. Non skid coating would be pretty awesome :D I'll probably go with a satin or wrinkle powdercoating.

    Thanks again everybody :)

Front bumper is off again so I could spray my bumper with duplicolor bedliner. The price quote for s/b powder coat was too high. Looks pretty good! I've used this stuff on my Monster Mule project on the floor of the cab and really liked it. Takes forever to dry tho. I gotta touch up some spots that was still a little soft and got marred by my straps when putting it back on.

Since my bicycle fork mounts will not work with the softopper, I made this...
The mounts are staggered so the handle bars don't hit each other. 29er in the center.
Everything squared off and spaced on a milling machine for squareness
    [IMG]
The slotted screws are just temporary. I'll have some nice socket cap screws soon.
Gonna wrap the sides and bottom of the feet with rubber.
Much easier this way since the fork clamps are right at the tailgate instead of behind the cab. The center was a little hard to reach before. I can completely close the softopper, and the handle bars of the 29er just barely rubs the window. I might take the window off or wrap a towel around the bars when I need to close it up. Now I just gotta paint it up! :D

Thanks, but that was last piece of aluminum c channel I could find in my area, so this is one of a kind :D
I don't mind the dangling, but am concerned with scuffing the window.

Thanks Tom! One day I'll have a pelfreybilt high clearance rear like you :D

Just snapped a bunch of current pics in my driveway, and realized I still haven't painted the bolt heads on the rear bushwackers...
so now I'm waiting on paint to dry...

looks mean Iven. How you liking that soft topper? Was thinking of getting something like that to cover the bed when going fishing/camping. fiberglass campers seem too overpriced.

Thanks Del. I absolutely love the softopper. Keeps the bed clean and surprisingly dry. Doesn't flap in the wind. I had it up to 70 on the freeway and didn't even notice it was there. Very useful. Can run it as just a bikini top, can remove and replace both windows if damaged. I also bought the screen rear for the doggies. Its very functional and good quality. Let me know if you want to check it out.
