Ahh nice. Yeah the biggest issue with my family's place is a massive (<--emphasis on that) stone chimney thats right dead center of the structure. idk but my bet is thats a deal breaker.. Anyway, I might shoot you a PM at some point just to have those guys contact info for future reference

So my house has 2 brick normal-sized chimneys, and they just break them loose at the bottom, support them, and take them up with the rest of the house.

Now my chimneys aren't massive or stone. But I figure if they can move this fucker:
    cape-hatteras-move.jpg

They can do pretty much anything.

You're not kidding. Built in 1802. At 210 feet it's the tallest brick lighthouse in North America and the second tallest in the world. How the hell it didn't just crumble I have no idea.

I've seen some different photos and think it was more like lumber and ratchet straps. Glad they repainted that base RED though.

Fair enough. I'm honestly a lot further along with the house build than the truck build anyway! I'll do a pic dump here in a little bit.

I would have to GO fishing, instead of just always DREAMING about going fishing for that to happen. :bananadead:

    I need to work less.

Honestly, looking at the pictures all together like that, I can't either. That first and last photo are about 9 months apart. The gestation period of an 1888 farmhouse is apparently, the same as a human. I'll also say that I did it through one of the wettest winters in recorded history.
