Got home last night and instead of doing one of the million things I have to do before Saturday, I ripped my grill out. Chrome removal continues tonight.

I did that, and the white held up great for a couple years. Finally got a color matched one after a semitruck decided to realign my front end backing into me at work.

Nope. Just 2 or 3 decently thick coats. Only issue I had was that the derp sauce leaves a sort of semi-porous finish that matched the paint well enough, but I got bug guts on it, and it discolored and stayed embedded in those pores.

Preexisting bug guts bled through the derp and discolored it? Or bug guts after derping got hung in the porous cavities of the derp and discolored it? I wiped mine down pretty good last night but ran out of daylight. But man that bitch is plastered with bugs. Going to pick up some bug and tar remover on the way home and finish it off before the derping. Derp. It's fun to say and fun to type. Derp.
