Head west on 33 until you hit the National Forest. Plenty of fire roads to wheel on!

a lot are blocked but if you head up the mountain and take the random left turn that heads down to the lake, that road goes on a long damn way. I've driven a couple miles back without seeing a gate and there's tons of side trails too

Yep ! Turn in at Skidmore Lake and stay on the road that goes around the lake. It will turn into a fire road that goes up to Flag Pole knob continuing on to Reddish knob. The main fire road then continues on to Stokesville. Numerous side routes. Wilderness Voyagers on 33 has maps that detail all the GWNF fire roads.

Watch out for mountain bikers, moto cross bikes and the occasional horses riders. All share the trails and roads. Have fun!
