    If you do decide to powdercoat, and they have a chrome like powder, you will probably need to replace the threaded rods. At least I did. The heat from the powdercoat melted some of the threads on the rods in the side. I just popped out the "melted" ones and screwed in some new ones. I added some "thread lock" and mine has been on the truck now for many months without any loosening.

    T2 = Taco Toaster, I love it.

    Access Tonneau,U Guard Step Bars,Short Antenna,Clear Bra,AFE Pro Dry,Cylon Front Emblem by MetalMaster,Cylon Raider Decal,Cylon third brakelight decal and a hanging cat on the tailgate...:)
    Wow..I go away for a week up north to work (no internet) and come back to all these replies in the thread..:)
    Pizzio,I definitely will wave..lol..I have noticed some other Tacoma owners wave when we meet..must be a friendly Manitoba thing!
    Evil Monkey..love what u did to Pizzio's truck pic..now I am rethinking the red led thing..lol...looks cool!
    Oz-T..lol @ the youtube...the thought once crossed my mind to get that saying on a window decal (or the new series saying "So say we all)..:)
    And thanks to all of you for taking a look and your wonderful comments..I wanted to make my truck a little unique and thanks to Metalmiller and his fantastic work,it turned out exactly how I wanted it to be.I also have a small Cylon Raider (fighter) decal on the back window and Sock Monkey made me up a third brakelight with 3 cylon heads on it.(oh..and a old Cylon chrome head from an old cylon figure hanging from the rear view mirror) I think it's time to end the geekyness..:)
