It raises the mirror up closer to the headliner and gets it out of your line of sight.

Awesome! It's narrower than the mattress but I feel it's that way by design.

The CVT tents are narrower than the Geo tents. CVT Mt. Bachelor is 48" x 96" open while the Geo GT-140 is 55" x 96".

The CVT Mt Shasta is the exact same size and the GEO CT-140

Mt. Shasta is same as GT-140.

This...everything I got for my GT-140 from CVT was for the Mt. Shasta standard (not extended) including the cold weather cover.

I'd build you a set if I could only figure out how exactly I'm going to do mine. I can't find any pre-made fenders that I like.

My thoughts on the fenders are that the current location of the axle for me is bad since I plan on putting a tongue box on the front and have already lengthened my tongue from 3' to 4'8". My plan is to re center the axle in between the 2 middle upright supports for the trailer tub, that way I can simply weld the new fenders on the the upright supports. A plus of doing it this way is that the upright supports protrude 1" from the trailer tub so a 10" will actually give you 11" of coverage from the trailer tub. I am also putting in a whole new suspension system on the trailer though so it makes sense for me to relocate the axle

I was looking at the axle location after putting on the bigger tires and the offset is much more pronounced with the tire change. I think I'll leave it be for now and mess with it later if the balance of the trailer is off after adding all the crap I want to add or if I end up changing the suspension.

I plan on extending the tongue too with a solid 2" square tube that runs from the rear forward then frame in the front a bit for a platform/deck or box like you're doing. I want a 2" receiver hitch on back to to use the motorcycle carrier or whatever else I can.

For the fenders, I'll go flat against the tub and notch the sheet metal to do so. I'm thinking about integrating a step/platform in front and behind the fenders too.

Are you leaving the expanded metal or do you plan on sheeting it?

Sometime over the summer I will be making my first attempt at welding (rtt rack, reinforcing the frame, triangulating the tongue, replacing expanded metal with 16ga sheet metal and either building the fenders or just welding a set on). I though about running a 2x2 metal tube all the way to the back for bike too but don't want the carrier to hit the ground plus it gets in the way of opening the tailgate. Think about getting some yakima round tubes and bolting them across the trailer and have tray style bike holders directly over the fenders. If you are going to go carry a motorcycel then off the back is the only way to do it.

What are you currently using to raise the rtt up off the trailer lip? I am using some 1.5"x1.5" 1/8 square tubing but its hard to fit anything underneath it.

I have Thule load bars that the tent is bolted to. They're bars that came with my Leer cap that were sitting in the corner of the garage since I'm running BajaRacks on the cab and cap. I bought 60" Yakima tracks that I bolted to the trailer to hold the Thule feet. It works well but unsure if it'll be my final solution to mount the tent. I thought about sliding the tent to one side and mounting kayak cradles to the other side but am hesitant to spend too much more on the mounting system just in case I decide to change it.

One thing I like about the Thule feet is that they're keyed...so I could unlock all four and remove the tent easily with the bars still attached. I also considered the Thule Xsporter system which would allow me to raise and lower the tent as desired plus have endless attachments to mount other crap. The only thing stopping me from picking up an Xsporter is the cost and my indecisiveness on mounting direction. If I find one cheap enough on the used market, I'll end up grabbing it and seeing how it works.

I thought about doing the xsporter and actually found a 1st gen one for $250 but decided not to go with it because it would limit what I could put in the tub plus I wasn't sure how easy it would be for 1 person the raise/lower the tent. I plan on raising the rtt 10"-14" and leaving it at a fixed height so that I have easy access to everything in the trailer (really don't want to have to unpack anything at night, just open a lid and get whatever I need out). Planning on doing something like rtt bed bars that are used on tacos a lot.

The effort of raising and lowering of the Xsporter is a concern for me too. A bedrack style solution is also where I'm leaning for a permanent mount...would also help make the trailer more solid. Like you, I'd rather not have to unpack everything if I can just open a lid. As it sits now, everything has to be pulled out which makes it a pain in the ass; however, as it sits now I can keep everything in the trailer and not have to worry about it walking away since the Thule bars are locked and I put locks on the tailgate of the trailer.

    Trade offs everywhere...:annoyed:
