SO I have a naive question but does anyone actually know why gas prices are so high? I'm not talking about the current crises of refinery being shutdown or whatever but how they just began to rise and rise and rise. Conspiracy by Al Gore to go green.... maybe :)

its complete bullshit. We have so many different places that we can drill if the oil is running out but we don't instead we hike prices that no one can affrord. It has gotten way outta hand.

Its the law of supply and demand. If your wanting something that is a huge supply and little demand then the prices are low. so the demand gets higher and the the saupply is sold over seas to make the supply low so that they have a reason to hike the prices.

How is it we send oil over seas and then buy more oil overseas to supply the US. In what fucking crazy world does that even remotely make sense.

These gas prices are ridiculous, looks like I'm gonna be carpooling and riding my bike for awhile.

Or maybe I will just bring my dirtbike instead, lol.

My wife finds out monday what her schedule is, but its sounds to be sunday off. I was planning on a day trip monday the 8th but gas prices have made me consider just doing the overnighter since it would cost around the same (if the black sheep vehicle is still invited). Not to be a bother and I have re-read the 18 pages, is there a set plan for the campers?

Oh c'mon gary , as long as your not a tool on the trails you'll always be welcome on runs, like i said earlier I don't care what you roll as long as a little skill is there & pretty sure your not a tool soooooo ya know, come on out !!:D

You'll be part of the crew in no time dude...

Thats a good question tho'. As far as I know theres a few that are going out to camp in the dez after CC & I think a few are just going down the night before, I'm going to post up an update in awhile seeing how its a week away, so its time to get all the ducks in a row for this...

Cool. I'll be heading out through superstition/plaser city regardless, but understand that camping is in OW. Itd be way too hard to try a caravan with the CC crew since the end time is whenever. I might try to head out with someone though skipping the cc run since I'm not a regular of OW. Will probably have an open seat, but might try to throw a can or two of gas in someones truck since I have back seats for a bed, but not a deal breaker. It does ok on the fuel.

Has anyone sorted out the camp spot? I intend to do CC and run home for the night and hook up with Oco crew the next morning but there's a chance the wife won't be able to make this one, if she can't make it I'm just gonna blast from CC to Oco and camp out Sat. night.

Also, when and where are we meeting for CC on Sat?
