    Let me get you up to speed bro'.... My truck took a huge dump by way of blown transmission almost a year ago , its now fixed & running (thanks to the good hearted, generous members of this site, they all donated funds & got me up & going again... yes this is the type of forum we have here , the best !!)

    Anyway it was time to hit some trails again so I started 2 threads for 2 diff runs, 1 for the 4x guys & 1 for the prerunners in Ocotillo, Oct. 13th is the 4x run to corral canyon (which all are still welcome to go) & Oct. 14th is the run to Ocotillo, some of the guys want to camp out/ go to Ocotillo saturday nite which is a good idea, except I can't be away from home that long because I care for my mom who is 83, but its fine I was just gonna go out there in the morning (Sun) So I think some are going out the night before & others will go out Sunday morn. if any of this makes sense....:)

    yeah you guys should

    I still think this guy is gonna fit in just fine....:D

    My ride has been in the making for 2 years, so I got the itch too. I'm 4wd, but more for sand. (wide and low). Would love to camp saturday night, but depends on getting away from the kids.


    And yep, no sway bars. No use wasting fab work trying to get the bronco sway bar on a mountaineer.

    I'm locked front and rear on 33's but 80" wide. Just get a little grandmaish when the fiberglass hits the rocks. But I have a winch if the ford fucks me.

    hesitant to head out. no rear springs = pain in my ass. literally. that and i need to do some figuring out as far as my coil rates in the front. tooo stiff for the mild stuff. not bad for the big stuff though.

    Hi Gabe, the CC run itself is going to be a day run , but I think Tyler & someone else had mentioned camping out Fri. 12th , they have a couple nice free campsites out there in bobcat meadows, & after the run a few are going to Ocotillo to campout for Sunday's run, hope that helps ya some.....:)
