The Division 2

Well in Div 1 it took 3 mags to kill someone. Progress we have now!

 

Didn’t play div 1 cause some of the bad reviews. So this is all new to me

 

Haha, the tag is KOD. It's named after @koditten but we've got a few guys from here and we play pretty often. I think the clan is level 3 right now.

 

We’re level 7 right now I think,but like i said once he goes it’ll split up,and I’ll hop over I’m sure. By then everyone should be end game and able to help each other out. I’ll definitely add you though,go ahead and get some play time in with the TCW group.

 

In the higher level areas yeah. Watch for Military MK17's and Urban MDR's if you like Semi Auto rifles. Good damage, fire rates and mags are just on the edge of just right. If you can find a good 5.56 rifle grab the magazine from the side mission that nets you more ammo. Then rock n roll!

I'm running a Mk17 with 5.5k dmg currently at lvl 19. Secondary is a Rem 870 with a ton of dmg.
I run the 870 over the bulwark shield and run the healer drone. Makes me pretty tanky for up close encounters. Mid range I throw lead from cover with the MK17 which is a champ at eating through armor and enemies. I keep running high armor gear with dmg resistances or armor talents like Self Adjusting.

Talents that grant health on kill are pointless IMO. When my armor is down I'm not shooting, I'm throwing a new plate in my carrier or I'll pop my healer drone and continue the fight.
Also hang onto any gear mods, because once you start getting armor with mod slots its a nice bonus to have. Like extra kill experience, stat boosts, etc.

Still haven't run across many armor pieces that have a lot of skill power...


Really wish you could look through the red dots... I feel like most of the weapon mods are pointless/useless.

I run LMG/SMG with demolition specialist build and it melts If your spec’d for the 15% extra damage on both guns,and have at least one piece each of Petrov defense and Sokolov concern. I go into world tiers fresh off the stronghold and do fine. So that’s definitely an option I think,worked so far but I’m not at all min/maxed yet or anything.

 

Look into the Chatterbox SMG. It buffs your other weapon.

I’ve heard about it but waiting for world tier 4,sounds like a blast the only exotic I used was the shotgun you got for preorder and it was smacking in the the early game so I’ll definitely go for it and whatever exotic lmg they come up with.

Been taking my time. One stronghold to do before world tier 1.

 

This is where I screwed up, we reached world tier 1 then did the minimum needed to open tier 2 and now we're immediately in it with low gear. Take your time between tiers!

 

Yeah, I'm in tier 2 now and need to grind up to 325 to get to the next tier. Been a little burnt out now that missions take forever to fight through. Plus all the gear that drops, it might be more gear score but its got worse stats than what I'm wearing already. As if I want to nerf myself when the enemies are harder... And they nerfed a bunch of stuff with the latest patch. I miss my 72 rd AR mags.

 

Play with the higher tier players and let them drop high end gear for you on their map.

 

Good idea. Time to jump into Tier 5 with my friend then!
