I just put it back in......

Not sure what the logic was for removing it. I PM’d Morgan to ask him. It seems like there is plenty of clearance between it and the bumper accounting for body flex so not sure what the rationale was....

Just a couple of comparison shots comparing pre- bumper, bed rack, grill and rear ADS shocks to current.

It’s getting there. Few more things on the list but that’ll be another year or two before I can close the book on it.

    Thanks dude!

You’re totally right - you, me and a small number of others have the best color of Taco ever haha

I’ve only seen about 2-3 other spruces in the greater Phoenix area in the year and a half that I’ve been here.

Can't wait to hear your review of those new shocks. Next time my BP's take a crap on me I'm going to start shopping for their replacement.

Got everything buttoned back up today.

700lb coils and the shipped amount of preload yielded about 1” of lift over where my TRD PRO Bilsteins were with approximately 200lbs of weight up front (130 lb front bumper + 1/4” IFS skid).

    Pretty straight CV angle’s.

When the coilovers are shipped they ship with the hoses in line with the clickers on the resi’s. In this way the resi wouldn’t sit flush on the bracket.

Both hoses had to be adjusted at approximate a 45 degree angle from the clicker.

    Passenger side from below.

I did need to notch the resi brackets to work with my At The Helm bumper frame tie-in brackets.

Well after a thousand miles or so I decided to adjust the preload figuring that the coils should have been well broken in and whatever settling has probably occurred.

Pre-measurements of the unloaded length of the coils and the amount of preload measured from the top hat to the lock ring were:
    Drivers - 12.25" / 1/2", Passenger - 12.5" / 3/8"

    IMG_3550.jpg

    IMG_3553.jpg

Adjustment of the collar to increase preload yielded:
    Drivers - 11.75" / 1", Passenger - 12" / 7/8"

Post-adjustment with a full tank of fuel the ground-to-fender measurements were:

    Drivers Front Passenger Front
    36.5" 37.5"

    Drivers Rear Passenger Rear
    38" 38.5"

CV angle still seems pretty good.

    Every penny!

I did the sway bar delete a few days ago and played around with settings.

With 700 in.lb coils I did 3 runs of a 35 mph slalom down my street with only adjusting the fronts as I’ve kept the rears at +8 clicks given the weight in the back. The first test was +10 clicks on the front, the second was +19 clicks and the last was at +1 click (20 click total range from 0 compression damping up to max). Definitely more body roll / nose-diving into turns at 35 mph slalom with +1 compression damping. At +19 clicks you could still tell the sway bar was gone but there wasn't a huge difference between running it with and without - minimally noticeable. What was noticeable at +19 clicks was hitting bumps and road irregularities making the ride definitely rougher. Ultimately settled on +14 clicks on the front and +8 on the rear - it basically has the body roll of a stock T4R now.

Very happy I went with the clickers to be able to change settings as my truck evolves too. I may stiffen them up a click or two once I drop a winch in and add another 50 lbs to the front. Also very happy I didn't go with 650 in.lb coils because the 700's barely provided the lift I wanted with the bumper/weight I currently have and I only have another 1/4" of preload in reserve if needed before I reach the maximum recommended by ADS.

How much lift do you have with these?
