Any ETA for shipping on PLB40’s?

 

It sounds like you have reasonable venting now and I wouldn't want you to lose functionality for your drawers. I would recommend continuing to observe and experiment a bit with your set up. Like a good camera, you have to get used to the controls, set up, etc to get a feel of how it works well.

Open up the space between the fridge and the bed wall, install a couple of large PC fans. They run on DC power and draw low amps.

@Dometic I’m in the market for a fridge to fit into the bed of my Tacoma. Will the CFX3 45 fit in my bed under a Bakflip MX4 tonneau cover.

We don't have a database of tonneau measurements to check against but I seem to recall that there were a few people on TW that have CFX3s and a Bakflip. I'm not sure which model of CFX3 they had though.

For the CFX3 45 the height is 18.74" (full specs here)

With the above you should be able to measure your set up and see if it will work. For comparison purposes the heights of the CFX3 35, 55, and 75 are 16.02", 18.90", and 18.58" respectively.

Hopefully, this will give you some information to work with relative to your Tacoma.

Does anyone by chance have a CFX3 55IM under a Diamondback cover? Will it fit. I have a cover on the way and I’m wanting to make sure that my fridge will actually before before I order it.

 

For those looking for a carrying/storage case, my awesome wife noticed that the PLB40 is roughly the size and shape of a bowling ball. Got this and fits perfectly! (side pocket for the shoes can store the cables

Unfortunately, I don't have access to the e-commerce system or have info on how (and when) inventory is being shipped. You should get a tracking notice when it ships, but I'm not sure when that might be.

Has anyone bolted their fridge via the bottom bolts instead of strapping it down?

 

@Dometic Do you have a print/diagram for the bottom of the 55IM showing the mounting bolt hole locations?

I'm building a platform for mine, and would like to bolt it down instead of strapping it.

 

Do you already have your fridge? If not I can measure mine for you for the bolt spacing.

 

I do, and I’ll measure mine if they don’t have one. It’s more accurate to use theirs vs my tape measure.

 

I had to dig around a bit but found the following that should help. Still be a good idea to verify with the measurements from @EatSleepTacos just to double check
