Well hello, prepare to be disappointed... or maybe not :notsure:

With modding a truck comes very poor mpgs, so a DD was in store and bought this 1998 BMW 318ti from my friend. Funny thing is, this was my second ever car and I sold it to him 6 years ago. In the time he only put 22k miles on it for a total of 147,000 miles. Always missed the car and jumped on the chance to purchase it again.

So here we are, me needing a place to store my log of silly mods and maintenance for your viewing pleasure. Also since TW is the best forum, it is here rather than a beammer one

Funny looking but actually cool looking at the same time. It does make parking easy

    Specs:
BMW 318ti (ti = touring fuel injected)
    3 series
    3 door hatchback
    rwd
    4 cylinder 1.9 l engine
    manual trans :burnrubber:
36+ mpg highway, 25 in town
    sunroof
    seat warmers

    Mods to come:
    - Different headlights (I thought they were cool back in highschool ) - also sucks because I found the oem ones in the garage in the winter and sold them!!
    - replace fog lights
    - german themed emblems and colors (license plate is black, yellow, and red so will go with that theme)
    - black out grill
    - fix diver door lock (the lock just spins)
    - fix window regulator because window falls down
    - figure out how to work the big woofers that were put in the back

    LOG:

    5-14-18 - Bought with 147,200 miles

E36s are fun as hell to play with. If you have any questions with it, I'm sure I can answer almost anything as I've been playing with them for years.

I've missed this car ever since I sold it, love driving it. An ls3 would be nice  but would defeat my budget dd!

Ah sweet! That looks awesome, would love to take mine on a track (just for fun). Awesomely fun - even stock

I will definitely ask you some questions if needed! I had a couple but can't remember at the moment.
