A lot of guys bitch about the shifting on the AT... And OK, well whatever.
But you know what you don't see? Countless threads of (Example) 'My AT blew up at 60K miles!'.... ;)

LOL!!! Same here. I've got some spots in Montana that... If you don't know they're there... You'll never find them.

This. Drops into 4th and 5th prematurely, lugs, and has to back down to the next lower gear under the slightest throttle pressure. It was even WORSE before the 0092 TSB a couple years ago. How the engineers at Toyota can find this acceptable is hard to fathom.

exactly - for the lead-footed drivers this isn't an issue, but when you just want to accelerate smoothly at a normal pace without flooring it, it kicks up and down far too much, making for a crappy ride.

LED interior, license plate, and fog lights. More to come.
It happens every day on my commute home. There's a traffic light to make a left turn that I get stuck at then I go 200 feet up a slight hill to a stop sign. Stepping on the gas hard to just stop in 200 feet is plain stupid so it shifts 1-2-3-2 then I stop. Pulling away from that stop sign is the sane thing, up a slight hill so if you don't step on it hard it does a 1-2-3-4-3 shift. If I didn't just dump close to a grand on a lift I'd be making an appointment for an OTT.

Weird, I don't get any of that. If anything my truck tends to stay in 5th longer than I think it should. Trans is perfect otherwise.
