I think he had to dip into his atlas/tire money for this new axle, and he just got married a week or two ago so I am sure he's still saving some.

Starting some front bumper shenanigans

 

26 more days until we close on the house then I’ll order the tcase.

 

Working in between the rain. I will integrate the fairlead mount into this permanent mount and then the bumper will bolt/unbolt around it.

Not that I'm aware of. Still waiting on an Atlas I think, but I wanted to point out the thread to @Key-Rei since he's about to make a bumper mount for his truck and this is a better example than my 1st Gen.

 

Tim needs to get off his wallet and get this moving. Slowest build ever.

 

Yup, haven't touched it in a few months. Still need to start on some bumpers for it, that's about the only thing left I can do until the Atlas arrives.

 

I'm surprised you haven't figured out how to squeeze it on to your trailer and carried over to Tim's house so it could be a lawn ornament there for a while until he saves up for that Atlas, lol.

This truck has not been a priority for me for a long time, if you guys realized the amount of money that I have lost on it you would probably have burned it down for me. In this year alone I have got married, bought a house and paid the balance off on the truck. That has cost me over 21 thousand dollars, all saved by myself and my wife. If I had any wallet to come up off of, trust me, I’d do it. Now with Christmas approaching, I can tell you it won’t be this year. I have been putting money aside for the atlas, if I don’t have it by February, Uncle Sam will be assisting.

Seriously, I get it. I'm you can do it at all. I'm lucky if I can regear and then it's gonna take me a couple years to save for a set of 35s and 15x10 steel wheels. An SAS is so far beyond my means it's a pipe dream.

I really do wanna see this thing in action though.
