Not with the steering setup that we are using. If we didn't go high-steer, then I could have more up-travel but then the steering links would be steep as shit at ride height and full droop. Just have to find the pros and cons of the different setups to find a happy medium.

10-4, I figured that's why you didn't do it already, just trying to silence these critics lol.

I figured this out earlier when my brain started working. Not only that but also that picture would be measuring up and down travel which isn't exactly as important as articulation which wouldn't be bad once the other side is dropped and that tire can fully stuff. Then it's Gucci.

Ohh, that's why you needed the harness. I thought you were just going on vacation when I offered my other truck.

Got the frame side panhard mount built and welded in and I went ahead and welded in the lower links mounts on the axle. Threw a coat of paint over all the bare metal because the rain from the everyday thunderstorms was making things rust up quick. Next up is building the axle side panhard and upper link mounts.

Haven't touched this in over a month until today. Decided that the lower links and the tie rod were ready to weld and at least one adapter in each link was ready to be welded in. Gonna get the lowers painted so I can push the axle back under the truck so I can continue with the build. It's been too hot and rainy to get anything done. I can't leave anything unpainted out in the weather or it will start to rust. Just going to weld and paint as I go so I don't have to pull everything out from under the truck every time I stop working on it.

So I did what welding I could and ran a tap through all adapters. I do this after any and all adapters are welded in.

Starting to mock up the steering. This is just the prelim stages of what it will be and at full bump. Everything will be double shear When done.

Full width axles definitely look better under 2nd Gens than they do under 1st Gens, haha.

Tim got some new rubber, I take it?
