well that shouldn't be too hard considering you have weight and tranny advantage..unless he gets the IPT upgrade..which he might..

then again..he has a ton of add ons that you won't for a while..

    who knows.

Turbo on 35s will beat you both :p haha

    Mike? which Mike?

I really wouldn't dump that much into performace for our rigs. Then more you push it..the more unreliable it becomes. Plus..unless your doing full LT..or dropping it down and slamming it..i see not much point beyond just the standard SC.

I didn't really. My dad may have :notsure: Have to ask him. I know he never opened it up ALL the way when i was with him. Cause..he would leave me in the dust. but would be curious to see if he gain any more boost. I know in Powell he only makes 6.5 psi.

haha yea..till you got thrown in jail. VERY strict about staying off the alpine tundra there.

He's probably referring to fuel delivery upgrades, 7th injector, fuel pump, etc.

Well yea..but he can NOT put his foot down offroad. Not even get into boost. Cause he doesn't have the suspension for it. Might as well be able to use it in both areas IMO..

shit i promise you there are areas where you coulda opened her up on Christina and the first part of shoshone.

But true...that you do. Even so though..it'll only take one glance away from the road to miss that one big ass whoop that destory's your current setup..i know you have done it..i have done it..and we weren't going very fast..so why do you need boost to go faster when you'll just end up breaking something without upgrading the rest of it??

I mean don't get me wrong. Me of ALL people want more power for going up the hills on the highway. That is would be super nice no doubt.

But id want to use it on the dirt too..

    Custom cams?? hahahahahahahaha

more then you want to send on a truck haha might as well do a full head job and forged internals then custom turbo setup for 15+ lbs of boost for 500+hp.

Really..you just should do a v8 swap. 1uz would be cheapest and so worth it.

I still don't know if ill do that or turbo..cost wise is about the same..but..V8 torque and rumble would be pretty sweet...id do a 3uz. a 1uz is cheaper then a full out turbo setup.

I wouldn't do an LS V8. would NEED at least a 1'' BL for one. You can make a lexus fit withough a BL. Much harder but they are more compact. And get better mpg..not that i care that much..but yea. Plus lots of SC support out there..now THAT would be insane haha

its a lexus...aka TOYOTA v8...can't get more bulletproof then that.

only thing the LS would be hand is parts are plentiful.

But i already put a GM part in my truck..thats a enough for now..

didn't go bang yes..but i bet it did very soon afterwords..haha

No way it lasted very long or could be DD all the time and survive.

Thats like me saying slapping on a bigger turbo and more fuel and doing that to a 2jz though..which it could do as well..that would also be a fun swap i think..

Another big advantage for the uz motor or jz's is you can use your stock r154 tranny and transfer case without modifying drive shafts. Big money saver there.

Of course at some point you'll get to where the clutch won't hold the hp and the tcase won't and diffs..

    One can only dream...

So mike..how bout dem pictars  otherwise Ben and i are just gonna keep going...and going....and going...till you post..

won't need big power. 300 hp from a V8 will be PLENTY haha

I want more power!! Haha. And the 3.4 is slower than the 4.0 so all the more reason for them to want more power.
