The Epic Wy/Co meet picture thread!!

I may get a :shitstorm: for this, but I hope to make it next summer for the Shoshone leg. I will miss the Moab trip (at least when TW goes) so I will need to hit up a meet with other yota dudes.

Great photographs Ben.

I had several pics of this that I gave up on because the exposure was so bad. My camera really struggled with the very high contrast of the scene. Nice work with this pic. I know it took extra to get it to look descent.



There were a couple of scenes from leg 3 that will forever represent the beauty of that place for me. This is one of them.

 

I used that 2nd one for the magazine article due in january. Love that shot too.

Again..mine looks different..but still..great capture.

We went thru there twice. The light was very different the 2nd time thru. Ben's pic was from the first time, you would not have had the same view as yours would not have the Tacomas in it.

 

yea i know. I have the panoramic i shot.

im saying i used BENS photo in the article coming out haha i just edited it different..naturally..

The versions of Ben's i have are just RAWs off his camera..i asked..don't worry..haha wouldn't change em if i hadn't asked.

Yea i think ill be in Powell most this summer..not sure ill be needed in AK this year so..yea. Though not complaining..so long as i can find a good job or two..or three..

I did some of that in HS. Pretty cool really.

 

no, likely survey work. if you'd be up for it. Sometimes riding quads to get topo points... taking photos of work along the way too for deliverable material.

 

oh surveying! cool! Helped my dad do that once. Amazing what you can do with that stuff.

i'll keep you in mind for sure. The work we do is all kind of as it comes up so I wont be able to give you a heads up really. Maybe a few weeks ahead but thats it. I'll still let you know tho. And yea, surveying is relatively new to me but it's been really a really awesome challenge and learning experience.

 

I had a.."buddy"/coach that was a surveyor here in Powell...can't remember his name..

and few weeks will be all ill need i think. Gonna try and get the job at the Weed and Pest place again which they do 4 days a week for 10 hour days. So i'd have 3 day weekends anyways.

Or maybe try finally learning to bar tend.

either way..shit'll buff out. Id help if i could and the money was worth the drive and all.
