    Man... I'll try.

I'm on a really busy project at work. I've got the month of July to finish almost 6 months of work. I'll take that as a challenge to get done by the 24th...

I am indeed! Getting my bumper done this weekend and going to check out my passenger cv axle, it clicks every so often but I have wheeled it and it isn't getting worse...yet.

I need to find an oem spare cv. I have an aftermarket one in the truck in case I break one but I heard that the oem ones are way stronger. Hard to come by one used and new they are close to $500 iirc.
I would rather replace now and keep this one for trail spare #2

I would just hate to trust the aftermarket one of I were to break early in the trip. Oh well, I will look for an oem and bring whatever I have at the time.

Eh your on 33s and I doubt heavier then my dads truck. 2nd gen cvs are stronger then mine and if I can make it down with 35s you'll be fine.

But if it's making an odd noise might wanna check it out haha

Could be that bushing mod thing too with the whole needle bearing. Or is that for the driver side?

I am pretty heavy, locked up front, and have a CV that clicks like crazy and yet I never broke one in Moab. I used the hell out of my front locker too. I even rolled smoke off all 4 tires on a steep climb down there and nothing. I thought for sure I would break one but I couldn't.

If you aren't locked up front and your boots are good, I wouldn't worry about it too much on 33's.

Not sure what you are referring to. I will have to look around, do you have a link?

Boots are fine. That makes me feel better, especially since I have a spare in the bed. My front passenger tire got a huge gouge in the sidewall too but I have had 2 tire shops look at it and both said not to worry about that either. They are E-rated and I also have a full-size spare so I'm covered there too.

CVJ ~ $200ish for a pair, I have been running mine hard for over a year now without issue.
