    Unless you are running dual quad core cpu's and 4 monster video cards, a 2K watt PSU is insane! haha. Hell anymore a 1K PSU is overkill since both CPU's and video cards are becoming more and more efficient.

    I should mention that that desktop is pretty old now. Like 4 or 5 years. It's running a Phenom II cpu and a GTX 260 is all. haha.

    Damn man! Sick rig! I thought about building a badass liquid cooled rig when I got back from Iraq running a I7 2600K (top dog at the time), then I bought a Tacoma and dumped all my money into it. haha
    Yeah! They do pretty good. I have one of the revised editions of the 260 architecture. They improved somethings, just can't remember exactly what it was now... haha... I've gotten a little rusty since I stated working on the Tacoma...

    Same here, I dropped the comp bug when I got my taco and was hooked. I haven't been following anything new either, last thing I read was about Intel's "Haswell", apparently it combines a CPU and a GPU in to one chip and supposedly it supposed to raise the bar.. we'll see lol I think it will fail honestly.

    The did that a while back. Almost all of intel's CPU's are running a gpu core as well. AMD started it so Intel followed suit. Good idea for the mainstreams uses, not so good for the enthusiasts.
